Role of Parents/Carers

We recognise the importance the role that parents and carers play in their child’s development and we aim to work in partnership to ensure that each child’s school life is happy and they thrive academically.

Curriculum evenings, parents’ evenings and drop-in sessions are held throughout the academic year to ensure that parents/carers are kept up-to-date and involved with their child’s learning experience at the school.

We encourage parents/carers to tell us about their children’s experiences outside school through their child’s Learning Journey and parents/carers are encouraged to join in with topic work with visits and talks as well as joining outings.
